We launched the Action Plans pilot project in September 2018 with a kick-off meeting in Brezno.

The Action Plans are intended to offer a comprehensive view of the problems and challenges faced by the districts, to present the development priorities of the municipality with clearly defined measurable objectives and to suggest the best ways of using local potential. The methodology for the development of action plans is based on the mobilisation of project ideas from below, so as part of the participation process we invite local stakeholders and strategic partners for each development area to the meetings. They can also actively participate by joining working groups.

After the initial kick-off meeting, participants have the opportunity to submit their opinions, ideas, solutions and project plans. All project plans are individually reviewed by the Development Agency's Program Specialists, who will recommend a course of action. Our colleagues from the Project Preparation and Implementation Section search for funding opportunities for each project plan from the calls for proposals within the framework of the ESF and national grant schemes and then consult them with the submitters.
