In accordance with the Competition Regulations of the Slovak Chamber of Architects of 16 May 2018 (hereinafter referred to as "Competition Regulations of the Slovak Chamber of Architects"), taking into account the provisions of Act No.138/1992 Coll. on Authorised Architects and Authorised Civil Engineers, as amended, and Act No. 185/2015 Coll., the Regional Tourism Organisation of the GRON Region in partnership with the BBSK Development Agency, n.o. "INFRASTRUCTURE CLOSE TO NATURE IN THE CENTRAL HIGHLANDS"

The Competition Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "T&C") were discussed and agreed by the jury at the constitutive meeting of the jury, held virtually on 22 April 2020 with a "per rollam" negotiation on 30.04.2020. The SKA verified the Terms of Reference on 11.05.2020, verification protocol No KA-325/2020.

The subject of the competition is the solution:

• a lookout point on the hill "Vojšín" (819 m.n.m.) near the village Malá Lehota, on the border of the municipality of Malá Lehota. Mala Lehota and Nová Baňa. The Vojšín nature trail passes through the peak.
• observation point at the Andesite Stone Sea National Natural Monument https://regiongron.sk/andezitove-kamenne-more/
• design of orientation elements for the Vojšín nature trail(https://regiongron.sk/naucny-chodnik-vojsin/), which will be used in the future at other tourist destinations in the Central Pohronie region.

The purpose of the competition is to obtain the best design in terms of the evaluation criteria, and after the competition is over, the announcer expects further elaboration of the architectural work by the winner of the competition in the form of project documentation and implementation PD for the subject of the competition, including the author's supervision.

Architectural and Landscape Design Competition "MOBILIAR FOR THE HORSE HILL ROAD" Knows the Winner" 

On 25 July 2019, the Regional Tourism Organization GRON Region in cooperation with the Development Agency of the BBSK, n.o. announced a public anonymous architectural and landscape design competition " MOBILIAR FOR THE POHRON COUNTRY ROAD".

The subject of the competition was the solution of uniform furnishing for the sites at the tourist destinations of the castles Pohron Castle Route and on the Hronom water route with the solution of the pilot site of the dock at Revište Castle, at the ruins of Šášov Castle and in the foothills of Zvolen Castle, the scope of which was defined in the competition aids as the "definition of the area to be solved". Essential for the competition was the design of the furnishing, with the selected sites to serve as a demonstration of its use. They are not concrete solutions for the area.

The purpose of the competition was to obtain the best design in terms of the evaluation criteria, and after the competition is over, the announcer expects further elaboration of the architectural work by the winner of the competition in the form of project documentation for the catalogue of elements of the furnishings and the implementation PD for the pilot site of Šášov Castle, including author supervision. The premises of the Revište dock and the foreground of Zvolen Castle are used in the competition only for the purpose of proof of concept and will not be the subject of a direct continuation of the contract.

The jury meeting to evaluate the competition proposals took place on 22 October 2019.

The winning proposal was Proposal No. 1, which the jury evaluated as follows: 'A high-quality treatment of the theme, very impressive modern and simple - even minimalist - welcome elements that can be localised for a specific site. The variation of the infotables with perforated background is good." The authors are Ing. arch. Pavol Paulíny, PhD., Ing. arch. Michal Vaňo and Ing. arch. Lukáš Vasko.
